R&D Infrastructure Task Force
R&D Infrastructure Task Forceは、次の2つの目的のために2018年に設置された。
- Identify essential R&D experimental facilities needed for development, demonstration and qualification of Gen-IV components and systems, including activities to meet safety and security objectives.
- Promote the utilization of the experimental facilities for collaborative R&D activities among the GIF partners.
GIF Workshop on R&D Infrastructures needs and opportunitieは、GIF革新的製造・材料TF（Advanced Manufacturing and Material Engineering interim Task Force）とGIF R&DインフラストラクチャーTF（R&D Infrastructure Task Force）が共同で開催したワークショップで、 GIF加盟国から参加したGIFメンバーとユーティリティ、SMRベンダー、規制関係者、専門研究機関、学界関係者が一堂に集まり、革新的製造・材料分野とR&Dインフラストラクチャー分野における今後の方向性、協力関係について協議しました。
